Recruitment process

For nearly 3 decades Allied Recruitment Solutions has offered services over and above our competitors and this is proven by the amount of business we handle. We set the standard, not follow it!

Our consultants have their own clientele and candidate database. This way, the client deals with the one consultant who knows your firm/company, of the culture and type of person who fits in and the level of performance required. Honesty is paramount as is understanding.

The account management process involves taking a detailed job description and our consultants will assist with the composition, the role with regard to position title, duties entailed, salary range etc. From this, a search of our active database is undertaken, a campaign is launched using innovative copywriting and knowing exactly where to place the advertisement to get the best results. Costs for advertising are inclusive to our fee unless a display advertisement is requested.

Selection of suitable candidates is undertaken and those deemed to be suitable for the role will be subjected to an interview which can take up to an hour or longer. Once all the interviews have been completed, a short list of candidates is compiled and a detailed resume covering all positions since leaving school and a letter containing the consultant's comments is undertaken and presented to the client. A detailed format for reference checking is used however, if our client requires particular information, this will be accommodated providing it is within the confines of the Privacy Act.

Interview times for candidates with the client are arranged at mutually convenient times and our consultants then follow up both parties for their opinions. When a candidate is to be offered the role, our consultants undertake the negotiation of salaries and benefits on behalf of the client.

A candidate is never submitted to a client without being interviewed and we believe our interviewing techniques bring out the best. We have taken the time to listen to our clients' requirements and we are able to supply the correct candidate for the client's needs.
